Heartland International English School offers a English + Volunteer programs. This is an immersive and rewarding experience designed for students who want to improve their English skills and make connections with the local community.

Program Options:
Power Volunteer
- 10 weeks of English study + 10 weeks of volunteering
- Intensive English Program classes to improve your language abilities.
- Unpaid volunteer position with lobal non-profit organization
Cost: Tuition fee $3,400, Volunteer placement $0
Experience Volunteer
- Volunteer evenings or weekends while studying*
- Study 4 weeks or longer
- Unpaid volunteer 2 or more hours per week
Cost: Tuition $340 per week, volunteer placement $0
*Placements are dependent on each organization’s availability and are subject to change. Students can participate in additional opportunities to help with 1-7 day seasonal events in addition to placements.
Career Volunteer
- For those interested in a career working in non-profit companies*
- Take professional volunteer industry courses with Volunteer Manitoba
- Courses during or after English study
Cost: ESL Tuition $340 per week, volunteer course $300 +
*Placements are dependent on each organization’s availability and are subject to change. Students can participate in additional opportunities to help with 1-7 day seasonal events in addition to placements.
