Located in beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Heartland International English School was established in 1999 and continues to be the premiere private English school in the city. Since opening our doors we have welcomed thousands of students from over 50 countries who were looking for a unique experience to learn English in the Heartland of Canada. We provide a range of programs to help students learn English for a variety of needs including conversation, reading, writing as well as academic and business English. Our program structure allows students to start whenever they want and to move between programs based on their levels to ensure they are challenged to continue learning. We have a dedicated and experienced administrative and teaching staff that has been at the school for over 40 years combined.

Our school is conveniently located in historic downtown Winnipeg close to all major bus routes and amenities including shops, restaurants, and parks. Our campus provides eight modern classrooms and a computer lab as well as a kitchen, dining area and media room.

The classroom is only part of our program as we believe strongly in enhancing students’ English learning experiences by providing them with a range of organized activities from evening outings to weekend trips. Our coordinators work hard to make sure that we organize events for students that range from artistic, to recreational to sporting and ensure that they fit into every student’s budget including many that are FREE.

Finally, we are the only private English school that has been accredited by Languages Canada in Winnipeg which means that you can be assured of a quality education and student services.
